A Colour Forecast: Our Favourite Shades of Autumn

As the seasons pass through, our minimalist colour pallet starts to change ever so slightly for the cooler months. Bringing forward our usual undertones of black and white, each additional colour helps to warm up our winter style without stepping to far out of our comfort zone.

Inspired by the fallen leaves and warm coffee, this earthy tone is one to emulate true autumnal style. Think camel, rust, beige, deep and dark browns.
Style this colour with any of your black leather pants, and white wool knit and you’re ready to brave the winter weather.

If you want to add a subtle colour to your wardrobe but don’t want to steer to far from the minimalist pallet, look no further than midnight blue/navy. Defined as one of the most understated yet effortless colours, we love our midnight blue silk tops coupled with a denim jeans or leather pant. This colour is definitely one we can’t see ourselves parting with anytime soon.

A bit of an obvious choice for us, however it’s all about the textures and layering our favourite cream pieces. We know that using cream as a base tone helps us style any winter outfit with ease, but we’ve decided to take it one step further this season by double blocking this colour whichever way we can. You know, white on white on white?!

Need we say more? Whether it be the perfect top, pant or skirt. Black is a must have for us all year round. We love black as it contrasts effortlessly with all our other favourite winter tones. This season we’re adding a few black winter essentials like the perfect soft coat and of course some new black leather boots, both of which we which we probably won’t be taking off for the next three months.
