Digital Marketing & E-commerce Manager

An exciting part time position has become available in our Sydney head office for an experienced Digital Marketing & E-commerce Manager to join our team.

With demonstrated experience managing and implementing paid digital marketing campaigns, end-to-end management of an e-commerce site and growing an engaged database, you will be a Shopify expert looking to make a difference. Suitable for someone that might be stepping back into the workplace or looking for flexibility. 

Role Purpose

Managing the Digital Marketing and E-Commerce strategy, with your focus on driving business profitability by improving conversion, traffic, optimisation and customer experience.

You will be passionate about E-Commerce and Digital Marketing, bring experience and knowledge, be on top of industry trends and new developments, and thrive in a small team environment while embracing change, in an ever changing and evolving industry.

You will work closely with the Director, E-Commerce and Content team on digital strategy and implementation to maximise profitability and reach targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for driving high value traffic through the management and strategy of digital marketing channels including SEO, SEM, EDM, Content, Affiliate, Social Media and Referrals. 
  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across Paid Search (Google Ads,) and Paid Social (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest)
  • Manage campaign budgets, bid strategies, and performance tracking to achieve KPIs and revenue targets
  • Utilise audience targeting and segmentation strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness and reach the target audience
  • Analyse campaign data and provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Conduct keyword research, ad copywriting, and A/B testing to optimise campaign performance
  • Own the Marketing Calendar, coordinating content across all channels
  • Own the CRM and email marketing strategy, coordinate EDM creative development and deployment, segmentation strategies, re-engagement through flows and the acquisitions of new sign-ups.
  • Collaborate with the content team to develop compelling ad creatives and landing pages that drive conversion
  • Work with Web Developers to ensure optimal site performance, develop new initiatives and drive online excellence.
  • Analyse Google Analytics to improve cart abandonment and conversion rate
  • Drive strategy change by identifying potential business opportunities to grow revenue and increase conversion.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital marketing

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years E-commerce Management experience - Shopify Plus preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years digital ads experience in managing, implementing and reporting on paid marketing - Google Adwords, Meta, Pinterest
  • Experience managing EDM programs and growing an engaged database - Klaviyo preferred
  • Digital background with experience in online retail optimisation and a high level of working knowledge in Google Analytics
  • Technically sound in basic web development
